She is so sweet and that is such a sincere post that all of us mommies can relate to. I have found from experience that most young children love spending time cooking and baking. I have a children's chocolate cake in the chocolate roundup. It couldn't possibly be easier to make. You should try it. Children's cookbooks are usually dumbed down with silly recipes so we use regular recipes and our son is my helper, but I do recommend Emeril's There's A Chef in My Family (2 others in the series too -- try his lasagna!) and Picture Yourself Cooking w/Your Kids.

It looks like she had a great time being your big helper! I have one that often gets lost in the shuffle too, it just takes a little more effort, but they really do love the attention.

I often feel like my middle son is the one left out. It is a constant struggle to get one-on-one time with each child- especially with three :) I pray a lot for God to give me specific ways to connect with each one of my children each day. He always delivers :)
