LPM Memory Verse #4

Well here we are, already into the middle of February and time for another memory verse. I love being part of the LPM memory verse challenge!

This week I chose a verse from Joshua:

"I command you- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1: 9

I love that. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go. I must continually remind myself of this and know that he is with me wherever I go. He's with me when I'm folding the laundry. He's with me when I'm picking my son up from school. He's with me when I'm feeling discouraged, frustrated, worried or afraid. He is with me!

I also love that the beginning words in this verse are so strong.
It's not, remember or please could you. No. It's I COMMAND YOU! Such forceful words, yet they are for our own benefit! If only we could realize the beauty in truly living out this verse.

Yes, Lord I will always remember to be strong and courageous. There is no need to be afraid or discouraged. For you are with me wherever I go!
