Go Flames Go!

Chris and I went on a date last night. I love our dates! We really don't get away often enough, but these times are so special and needed for our marriage.

So, when Chris was able to get playoff tickets (thanks Adam!) I was really excited to have an excuse to get out on our own in the middle of the week. (Thanks mom for watching the kiddos, you are so awesome!)

I'm not a huge sports fan. I wouldn't necessarily choose to watch hockey over something else, but I do enjoy spending time with my hubby and of all the sports, hockey is definitely my favorite.

Well, last night I realized I like hockey more than I thought. Maybe it was the excitement of the crowd. Or the intensity of this particular game (which was super exciting and we ended up winning 6-4. ) but I had a great time!

It was so much fun and really awesome to see my hubby in his element. Chris LOVES hockey. (maybe you remember how jealous he was of our little guy. This time it was our son who was jealous of daddy. He really wanted to go to the game too.)

Thanks honey for such a fun night!
I really did have such a great time, and now I can't wait until we can escape again :)

  5. You look like you were having such a great time!

My brothers were really into hockey and I loved going to the few games we went to when we were little. The crowd is SO fun to be a part of.

Man, hubby and I need a date night. I miss him. :(

  6. During the five years we were in Calgary, we were able to go to several games a year (thanks to friends and relative with rich friends!). The Saddledome is a great place and the sea of red is great to be a part of.
