Brace yourself.
This is going to change the way your think about fruit salad forever.
It will make your heart sing.
It will make you want to dance around singing love songs to anyone who will listen.
It will make you want to eat the entire bowl yourself....
We start our journey with your typical fruit salad.
Cut up whatever fruits you love and mix 'em all up. This time I used melons, cantaloupe, apples, red and green grapes, watermelon, strawberries and raspberries.
(Please note, this is much fancier than I usually make, but I was bringing it to a potluck and figured go fancy or go home :) I usually just stick to apples, grapes, maybe some strawberries and sometimes kiwi...ok you get the picture.)
Mmmmm.... doesn't it look delicious just on it's own? The perfect snack to have in the middle of a hot summer day.
But we're not done yet.
No.
Here's where we get a little crazy....
It's time to add some magic...
Yup, that's right.
Mini chocolate chips, mini marshmallows and your favorite yogurt.
Mix 'em all up, and there you have it.
Heaven in a bowl.
Your simple summer salad just stepped into first class baby!
My family LOVES this salad.
In fact, I could barely keep them out of the bowl!

ReplyDeleteLooks yummy! When I was a kid, my mom would make fancy fruit salad for holidays by adding marshmallows and cool whip to the cut-up fruit. Delish!
