Cake and the Magic of Facebook

A few months ago I was able to reconnect with one the sweetest people I've ever known.
My dear friend Christina. We went to high school together and sadly lost touch shortly after that. But then through the magic of Facebook we've been able to catch up on lost time!

Christina is one of those people that just lights up the room. You know the kind.
She can make anyone laugh and always has a smile on that pretty little face of hers. The girl has got the BEST sense of humor.

I get her sarcasm and her sarcasm gets me!

She is an amazing Mommy to her three little munchkins and has the biggest heart- EVER.
She also has a wonderful husband, and theirs is marriage where the love between them is so genuine. So real. You can just feel it.
I am so blessed to know her and be a part of her life once again.

A little while ago we decided to enroll in a cake decorating class together. We both enjoy making cute homemade cakes for our kids birthdays and figured it would be tons of fun to do this together, and hopefully pick up some mad skills in the process.

Tonight we started our first class. I am SO excited to take these classes with her. She makes me laugh and I know it is just going to be a blast to learn together.

After our class I took a picture (bad quality- I know, it was just on my cell phone) to document this momentous occasion, and promised Christina that I'd make her famous on this here blog.
:)

So, everyone- Meet Christina!
Ain't she just a doll?!
And check us out. Can't you just feel the excitement?!

Christina, I love ya and can't wait to see how our little cake adventure turns out :)

  3. I took this same cake class with a friend - it was REALLY fun...and tasty.

Chris got very upset when the class was over because there wasn't always a cake on the counter to nibble at!

Be sure to post pics of your decorating feats!
