Behold.
My first attempt at quilting :)
As soon as I saw this mini I spy quilt I knew I had found my first project. It's just such a fun idea, and I knew my girls would love it!
It's definitely not perfect, but I enjoyed making it and it was SUPER easy!
Although, I did have some issues with the binding. Actually just one very big issue.
It's my corners.
They suck.
Really and truly.
I'm at a loss as to how you get pretty corners, so if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.
I took Marie's suggestion and used a fun animal print on the back too so the girls and I can have more 'I spy' fun with all the different animals.
I think she might like it :)
It looks great, it's a perfect first time project. And I'll have to do a little blog tutorial on corners, I've had a few people ask me about them. Thanks for linking!
