BIG GIRL UNDERWEAR!
WOO HOO!
Our potty training woes seem to be over!
Yippeeeeeeeeeee!
Hallelujah!
So, what did we do different?
Nothing really.
No new formulas.
Or bribes.
Or threats.
:)
To be honest, I had all but given up hope and actually settled on the idea of waiting and just training the girls together in a few months.
But.... she's been begging to wear her big girl underwear.
So, yesterday I decided to give it just one more shot.
And what'da know
she just up and decided that she was gonna do it.
When this girl puts something in her mind- there's NO stopping her.
{I can't wait to see how God is going to use her!}
She had just one accident in the morning but went on to pee in the potty successfully for the rest of the day.
She even survived a car ride when we had to go out to pick up big brother from school.
What?! Where did that come from?
This is the child who {for the last YEAR} has refused to go on the potty.
On the floor- yes. On the couch-yes. On the kitchen chair- oh ya.
But the potty?- no thanks.
And then out of the blue....a whole day of potty dances, "pee pee on the potty" songs, marshmallow rewards and stickers for her potty chart.
Day Two {I'm thrilled to report} was just as successful.
Just one accident.
The rest of the day on the potty.
Ahhhhhhhh.
Breathing a huge sigh of relief.
Some of you might think it's a bit early to be celebrating.
But when it comes to the potty and my strong willed 3 year old two entire days with just 2 accidents is reason enough to throw a party!
OH YA!
