We just had our first frost and I said good-bye to our summer garden. I'm definitely not ready for snow yet.

really??? there is always something special and magical about the first snow even if it is in october :o) we don't get enough snow to really say the first snow so anytime it snows in the valley is party time in this house. i miss the snow but not the freezing cold temps of mn winters.
