Breakfast is most definitely my biggest culinary challenge.
This week all I've got to share is the good old standby of toast. Don't worry, it's not just any toast. No. It's toast sandwiches- in fun/cool shapes. Yes people, I know you are blown over by my creativity. I'm certain that I am the very first person to have ever come up with this idea :)
Now, we tend to stick to the jam or pea butter- (yup I said pea butter. It's an alternative to PeaNUT butter, which we eat due to big boy's allergy to peanuts), but you can add in whatever you want. Eggs, Bacon, maybe make a BLT...mmm just writing this is making me want run to the grocery store and buy all these ingredients, cuz you know, currently we are out of eggs, bacon, tomatoes and lettuce!
Sigh...I do have a trip to the grocery store planned today in between the girls naps, hopefully it'll happen!
Anyways, here's what we had this morning:
In honor of the big V-day coming up on Saturday- Heart Shaped Toast Sandwiches!
Yum, Yum!

Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI think those are really cute! I am sure my kids would be happy to eat heart sandwiches for breakfast, no crust!
