The past couple days have been hard around here.
Yesterday morning I awoke to an email from our very dear friend letting us know that her husband had been admitted into the hospital for chest pains.
We learnt later that afternoon that he would need surgery in the morning. This has come as such a shock.
I've been wrestling with God the past couple days to try and get my head wrapped around it. Although I am frustrated, I am also satisfied in the promise that God is in control!
Amazingly my friend has had an unbelievable amount of strength and peace that can only be explained by the grace of God. Seriously, it's so beautiful to witness!
So what am I thankful for?
I am thankful for the peace and rest that can only be found in God.
I am thankful for the ability to share in one anothers burdens.
I am so thankful and blessed beyond words to know this amazing family.
Please pray with me for his recovery and that his whole family would continue to have peace. Also, please pray for his three small kids who are missing their Dada, and just want him to come home!
