At first I was happy with what it was for me. I loved writing and I also loved that no one could actually read what I was writing. I found security in that.
But the more I dove into the land of blogging the more I realized that it could be so much more for me. I realized that I was missing out on so much by keeping it to myself. So (after a lot of encouraging form my husband) back in January of this year I made it *GULP* public.
You know what I discovered? I loved sharing it. Really, I don't regret it one bit!
I think that my favorite things about being a part of the blogging world are the friendships I've made. Even though I haven't met a lot of the woman whose blogs I visit and who visit mine I still feel like we know each other so well. I love the sense of family that the blogging community offers.
Being a stay at home mom, I feel like blogging somehow connects me to the world out there. It's a place where I can share my innermost thoughts and triumphs as well as whatever difficulty I'm facing or something I'm frustrated with. It's the place where I can share the silly little things that happen throughout the day that I so want to remember when this season of raising little kids has past.
I love the relationship that come with this blog. I am seriously giddy, every time I see a new comment. I am so encouraged and strengthened by all of you and want to thank you all for being part of my little blogging journey. Really form the bottom of my heart- Thank you :)
Now, onto what I actually wanted to write about today.
LOL- does that ever happen to you where you have something to write about and end up rambling on about something else??
No, just me?
Ok then.
I suppose what I'm about to share does kinda go with what I've already written.
It's about community.
And having fun...maybe you've already heard about it....
