Menu Plan April 20- 26

Ok friends. Gather around. I have to tell you about the highlight of last weeks menu....dramatic pause...... and the winner is........ da, da, da, daaaaaaaaa:
Balsamic Pork Roast Tenderloin.

Seriously.

We all LOVED it. Chris and I kept pausing after each bite to tell one another how good it was. All three kids gobbled it up and all three of them had seconds. Our son even asked me to please send it in his lunch for school.

It was just super tender & so full of flavor. One small warning though- Leigh Anne wasn't lying when she said that every time she makes it, it sets off her smoke alarm. Yes, the smoke is plentiful...and thick...but can I tell you that it is so worth running like a crazy woman to fan off your smoke alarm with your tea towel!! It's just soooooooo darn good!
You simply must try it!
Really.
I'm serious.
Ok, I'm done bossing you around now.

Onto this week's plan.

Monday: BBQ Steaks, baked potatoes, stemmed vegs, french bread
Tuesday: BLT bagels
Wednesday: "Really good" Noodles and Chicken (I'm really excited to try another one of Leigh Anne's recipes)
Thursday: Ham with rice and vegs
Friday: Tacos (using this homemade seasoning)
Saturday: Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (I can't wait to try Sarah's homemade caesar dressing!)
Sunday: Clean out the fridge night :)

  1. When I saw the "Really Good" Noodles and Chicken, I thought it was going to be a soup or stew, so I was surprised. It looks yummy. I'm not sure all my kids would like it, but I still stuck it in my favorites to try sometime soon, because you know, all my kids don't like everything new I try, and sometimes I'm surprised!

I'd love to know what you think of the homemade caesar dressing. It looked great in the picture, but when I read anchovy paste I had to wonder.

How stinkin' funny...I just realized you have my taco seasoning on there. I blew right past it the first time I looked over your menu and I was just scanning it before I posted my comment. We're having tacos this week too, but on Tuesday.

    Have a great week!

  5. I always love looking at your menus. I'm gonna have to try that pork tenderloin. Would you believe I've never made one? It looks SO good.

Ooooh, I LOVE that chicken caesar salad. The dressing is SO good. It came from my aunt's grandmother, who was Greek and an amazing cook, and her recipes are NEVER fail.

    Have a happy Monday!

  6. Isn't homemade wonderful, even though it takes forever if you do everything that way....sometimes I feel as if I'm in the kitchen all day. But it's worth it in the long run.
