Menu Plan May 11- May 17
This week we found out that my 5 year old is NO LONGER ALLERGIC TO MILK!!!
Can I get a Whoop Whoop!?
Yesssssss!
A whole new world of recipes have just opened up for us!
So in light of that spectacular news we are going to enjoy many a cheesy meal this week!
Here's what's happening in my kitchen this week:
Monday: Parmesan Cheesy Chicken
Tuesday: Ham Casserole
Wednesday: BBQ Hamburgers with *cheese* for everyone!
Thursday: Spicy Honey Chicken (YUMMY)
Friday: Pit Beef (I can't wait to have this one again. It was so delicious last time! If you haven't made it yet, you really do need to give it a whirl. It's a great time of year to get out and do some grillin')
Saturday: Homemade pizza dripping with *cheese* for everyone!
Sunday: Leftovers

A few weeks ago, we found out that my 2 1/2 year old (who has been off dairy since he was diagnosed allergic at age 1), while still intolerant to cow dairy, can have GOAT dairy!
ReplyDeleteSo I know how you feel!
Goat dairy is unfortunately really expensive, but I work it into the budget because I know how much he loves eating it now. What toddler doesn't love cheese and yogurt?? I hope to find a second hand ice cream maker this summer to make him some ice cream. Yum!
I made the 'really good' noodles and chicken last week, Sara, and boy was it good!!! Really good! :) So glad you shared the recipe from the other blog a couple of weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteYour menu sounds yummy, and your news is definitely good news. I've never had to be concerned when it comes to food allergies with my kids, so I can't really relate...only imagine...and I think unless you're living it you don't really understand.
Have a great week!
Hurray for the good news! My son is allergic to milk and soy so I feel your pain. I am constantly making 2 sets of food.
ReplyDelete:)
That is such good news. I too would be making the most of it. I think I'd struggle if I couldn't have cheese.
ReplyDeleteThat Pit Beef looks great!!! We'll have to try it out soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful! I am sure that is how my mom felt when I got over my egg allergy :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the menu... I am always looking for new recipes. I came through Org Junkie's Menu Plan Monday Linky. I can't wait to see what next week brings.
