Menu Plan July 27- Aug 2

Last week I was (once again) reminded of why I plan my menus....
I managed to stay on track the entire week (with the exception of Saturday night, and only because Chris' parents took the kids and so Chris and I went out on a lovely dinner date.)

I spent zero time worrying about what I was going to make.
And for that alone- I {heart} menu planning.

The highlight of last week was definitely the Roasted Red Pepper Tortellini Bake. Everyone loved this one and my husband even declared it as one of his new favorites!
My favorite part was just how easy it was to make! Thanks soooooo much Snow White!

Here's the plan this week...

Monday: Leftover BBQ beef on a bun
Tuesday: Sausage and Mixed Peppers Quesadillas (eeek -this is now the third week in a row I've had this on my menu...fingers crossed this time!)
Wednesday: Pioneer Woman's Favorite Sandwich
Thursday: Loaded Baked Potato Pizza
Friday: Stir-Fry
Saturday: Asian Noddle Salad
Sunday: Crock-pot Burritos ( ground beef + salsa + 3hours= the best burritos EVER!)

  1. I haven't had tortellini in so long, now you've gone and given me a craving. I'm going to search her site and look for that homemade spaghetti sauce. Is that how you did it, or did you buy prepared? Just curious, because I've tried homemade a few times and never found one that is just right.

    Have a great week!

  2. I'm so glad you liked the tortellini! :)

Your week looks good - especially those PW sandwiches!

  3. I have only done this twice before but so far I have done almost everything (sometimes a week late though). The one thing I think I skipped last week was turkey dogs and those aren't a big deal because they just sit in the freezer. Good luck getting quesadillas this week...I have them on my menu too!

  5. BBQ beef is one of my favorites. Often, I'll buy lunch meat, heat it with BBQ sauce and put it on a bun.
