Growing too fast...

On Sunday night our baby girl graduated from her crib to a toddler bed.

Unfortunately, she was not totally in love with the idea at first.
See, she is a child who does not do well with change. She thrives on the familiar.

You should have seen her panicked look as she eyed up the crib and looked at me like: "what are you doing to me mommy?!"

Sadly, she screamed for over an hour, getting in out of bed, and then finally fell asleep completely exhausted.

Yesterday's naptime went much more smoothly. She fell right to sleep without a sound, and then last night she went right to bed as if she's been doing it forever. I'm actually very surprised that the transition has gone as smooth as it has. (so far)

Although I am so excited to move onto this next stage with her, I am also very sad at the thought of taking down the crib....especially not knowing if we'll ever put it up again...
