After a long night of tossing and turning over the surgery and talking with friends and family we decided to get a second opinion this morning before the surgery that was scheduled for noon today.
We just couldn't help but feel an enormous pressure to have all this work done so quickly without any time to mentally process it.
After seeing this second dentist we decided to cancel the surgery and just deal with the infected tooth for now.
(big HUGE thanks to our wonderful friend who was able to squ-eeeeee-ze us in!)
He's on antibiotics and is scheduled to go back to the new dentist on Friday to have the infected tooth pulled- in office, not in surgery!
We will then make a treatment plan together for fixing all the other stuff.
I am both relieved and emotionally drained.
Before heading out to the new dentist office, this morning, I checked my email and received one that included this scripture:
Philippians 4:19 - And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Thanks S.W for reminding me that God is always there for me.
He most certainly met my needs.
He most certainly met my needs.
whew! What a rollercoaster for you guys! Good for you for getting a second opinion. And glad to hear there was no surgery option. Hopefully everything clears up soon :)
