Slowing down

It has been a quiet week.
A reflective week.
My heart has grieved
and in turn
I'm learning to slow down.
To appreciate what I do have.

I'm learning to prioritize.
Hope.
Believe.
Love
{deeper than I ever have before}

I'm finding joy...

in the everyday
:)
I'm seeking it out.
{and living in it}

I'm learning to stop.
Play.
Embrace.
Live.
And
I'm accepting that I'm not a super-mom.
I can't do it all
or be it all.
Instead
I'm trusting in the One who can.
The One who gives me the strength I need...
each
and
every
day.

  1. Slowing down... why don't we do it more often. I hope this can become a daily kind of lifestyle for me. Look at all the beauty that comes when we can stop and listen and look at all that God has given us! Thank you for the beautiful post Sara!

  3. Amen. I cannot wait for summer- when things will slow down. But perhaps, to get the most out of each day, I need to force myself to slow down NOW. His grace is sufficient for each day :)

  7. The post about your dear mother was so beautiful Sara and written so eloquently. She may not be able to "tell" you that she's proud of you...but I know that she is. And you may not think that you're "supermom" but you are. I did nothing but lay on the floor yesterday and play with my kids and can I admit that not much tops that? In a flash, they'll be grown up- I share your love of photography because it helps me to hold on to these precious babes just a little longer. I pray God's best for you and that beautiful family of yours.

    i am ready to simplify and slow down. we all need it.

    i loved the pictures of your sweet family.
