Ten on Tuesday

1. Last week I ordered Ann Voskamp's new book One thousand Gifts. I'm planning on joining the Bloom (in)courage Book Club online study starting up in February. So excited! I can't wait for it to arrive.
If you've never been to Ann's blog {A Holy Experience} you need to. Immediately. Her writing, her heart, her faith.... just simply beautiful.

2. This morning my cousin took the girls for a play date- just to give me a break. She is amazing. I spent the morning shopping. I walked slowly through the aisles and took my time making decisions on what to buy. It was glorious.

3. This song had me boppin' along while driving this morning. I'm sure the other drivers thought I was crazy, but come on. How can you resist "boppin" to this song? ;)

4. Need an awesome {and SUPER easy} new recipe that everyone in your family with devour? Here you go. Your welcome. Chris has dubbed it a new favorite.

5. For Christmas Chris' brother and girlfriend spoiled us with a date night. They bought us tickets to a Flames game and gifted us with babysitting to go along with it. So, friday night Chris and I spent a wonderful evening out. We cheered on our city's hockey team and enjoyed a late dinner afterwards. I am so thankful that we were able to get out by ourselves and spend some time together {just the two of us} before baby comes :)

6. And because I just can't write a Ten on Tuesday post without a picture, here ya go. Isn't this sweet bride gorgeous?

7. He is....

8. Confession time. I am almost 30 years old and last week I experienced something that I have never experienced before......
I got kicked out of the library!
Yes, yes, it's sad but true. Explanation? A three year old temper tantrum that drew the attention of one of the workers who "kindly" reminded me that we were in fact in a library and that we needed to be quiet. Yes, thank you so much for reminding me :(
So, so sad.

9. Are you a "yes" mom or a "no" mom?
Me? I'm a slowly recovering no-mom. Trying day by day to consciously say "Yes!" more often than not.

10. I never took belly shots with any of my other pregnancies. In fact the only picture I have pregnant of my son was at his baby shower and my eyes were closed. But since this is {likely} our last pregnancy I decided I wanted a few shots of my huge tummy :)
So, last week I set up the tripod, figured out the self timer on my camera and took a few fun shots. I'm happy with how they turned out :)

Happy Tuesday Friends!
