Today was my Grandpa's 75th Birthday. We celebrated with a big dinner at the Glenmore Inn, followed by cake and presents back at my grandparents place.
My Grandpa is one of the sweetest, most caring men I know. He has always been there for me. I can remember as a little girl going over to his house, and heading out to the nearby park to play and look for four leafed clovers. This was always the highlight of our adventure, as the park he took us to was filled with big patches of clovers. I have to admit, my little brother was always the best at finding them. We wouldn't be there for five minutes before I could hear him yelling with excitement:
"I found one Grandpa!!"
There was the rare occasion though, when I would find one. My Grandpa was always so excited for us and made a really big deal out of us finding one. Like it was this impossible feat, and that we were the most amazing explorers!!
He was always really good at supporting us in whatever we found ourselves interested in. He is the sort of quiet spirit that you just want to be around. I am so blessed to have him, and pray for many more years together!
Happy 75th Birthday Grandpa!
I love you!!
